We made a garden! Dean and Eden picked out all the plants and seeds at Home Depot. We got dirt and stuff to build the garden box. Jude wasn't much help since he was busy playing with a puppy he met at the Home Depot named "Chico". The dog's owner even let him walk the dog around for a bit and Jude was very happy. When the dog's owner said "You can have the dog but you have to come home with us! Say bye to your mommy" Without hesitation Jude turned to me and said "Bye Mommy!" I guess he still has a thing or two to learn about strangers....
But the garden is great. The boys want to water it ALL the time. It will be a neat summer project. Hopefully we will be able to eat some of the things we grow, and maybe have a pumpkin or two for halloween of our own.

Being Sick
So last weekend I got sick. Then by Tuesday, Jude was sick. Then by Friday Dean was sick! It was very, very sad. I ended up missing class most of last Monday and all day Tuesday. So my test THIS Monday didn't go very well...but I can still recover. The only good part was that Dean got a few days off to come and help when I was sick, and then this week he got a few days off because HE was sick!! So we got lots of extra Dean time!! The boys miss him when hes gone, on Monday morning when we got up and he wasn't here Jude said "Mommy, where Dean?" and I said "He had to go back to the ARMY base." and he wailed "WWWWHHHHHYYYYYY??????" and then cried until I got him some chocolate milk. Chocolate milk makes everything better.
This Wednesday was my first clinical day at Crawford Long hospital. We all looked so silly in our all white scrubs with our little patches and name tags. It made us very easy to spot walking down the hall! The day went well though, and I got to give my very first shot to a real live person!! It was great, they didn't scream or flinch or anything so I guess I did a good job. Besides that we got to give baths, change linen, and......measure "Inputs and Outputs", which is basically measuring pee in a cup. Doesn't that sound like fun? I can't imagine why more people don't want to go into nursing...
Today I got to go to the Foam Factory on a fieldtrip with Eden's class!! It was really really fun. His little classmates are so adorable, they ran themselves ragged, we all sat and ate lunch, and then most of them fell asleep on the bus on the way home. His "best" friend at the moment is Devin. Devin got to be in my group, which made Eden very happy. Edens favorite part about the Foam Factory was standing underneath the huge buckets, and when they got full a siren went off and then all the balls got dumped on our heads.
So it was a good fun day. Dean's parents are going to be in town this weekend, and that should be fun. For now though, I have to go study some Pathophysiology and hope my test next week goes better then the last one.

What the hey, Nay!
I totally forgot I had this blog!!
Life has completely changed. I got married to Dean on Feb. 18th. Which, incidentally, turned out to be my Great-grandmothers birthday, the one I am named after!!
The boys are great, school is mostly good, and the only thing I would change if I could would be to get Dean out of the freaking ARMY. But, oh well. I love him anyways. Im going to post some pictures now!

The Days
Lately the days seem to go by so fast. Dad and Vicki are getting ready to move. I took the boys over last night. The whole house has changed! Most of the furniture is gone, including the DVD player so poor Jude couldn't watch his Veggie Tales. but the boys had a lot of room to run, so thats basically what they did. Back and forth, Back and forth across the living room into the kitchen and back again. Laura was visiting form Boston so the boys got to stay up late to visit. We all had dinner and it was a good time.
We went to Noah's 1st birthday party this weekend and it was so much fun. Jude managed to hurt himself...twice...but nothing major. All the moms reacted way more then I did, but then I'm used to Jude hurting himself at least four or five times a day. Hes yet to do any serious damage so I try not to freak out. The highlight of the party for me was when little Noah got a bit overwhelmed and started to cry. Jude RAN right over to Noah's highchair pushing all the grown-ups out of the way shouting "Noah! Noah! Ok? Ok?" He even pushed Noah's Dad out of the way to get to his friend in need! It was soooo sweet!
I was putting Eden to bed a few days ago, I gave him a kiss and said goodnight, and he sits up and says "Mommy, tell me again where is my pankanese?" I said " you mean your pancreas?" and hes said "Yeah, yeah, that! My pancreas! Where is it again?" This is what happens when I study for biology class during the day! He is absolutely fascinated with my book and the illustrations, but has made me promise not to show him any "Yucky pictures" of actual organs. He saw a few on accident one day and was completely grossed out. But he knows all about his pancreas!
