Halloween!

Well, the kiddos had a great Halloween, although I couldnt actually go out trick or treating with them because I had been in the hospital the day before.....again! Silly Hannah keeps causing trouble! But everything is fine. The boys did trick or treat in our neighborhood, their dad took them around. They have TONS of candy, which I am now resisting the urge to eat!!

The Sunday before we went to a farm nearby to get pumpkins. We got to go on a hayride, drink some apple cider, see some farm animals and play on a little play ground. The boys were so great, and it was such a beautiful day. Here are some pictures of my beautiful children.

Dean in Chile Posted by Picasa

The Best

I just need to say that I have the BEST husband EVER!

Last weekend, when I had to be on bedrest, he took care of me, baked me brownies, AND took the boys to the Fall Festival at Eden's school all by himself!! How great is that? I actually think they had more fun going without me, ya know, a boys day out kind of thing.

Then this weekend he came to see me, even though it was only for one day since I had clinical all day Saturday. Sunday was a beautiful day, and we went out to Kennesaw Mountain, took the dog, and spent a little time outdoors. Dean brought an old camera he has and took pictures. That made me happy because all the pictures I have of me pregnant I have taken myself, so my head isn't in any of them! I hope these ones turn out good.

We also spent time at home, sitting with our hands on my tummy feeling Hannah kick around. She seems to like hearing Dean's voice. It makes me so happy when I see him excited about her and talking to her. I already know he is a great Dad to the boys, and I can't wait to see him with her!

Here is a picture of Dean that he showed me recently. I love it.

23 Weeks!

So, heres my tummy again, at 23 weeks. Hannah is super active lately, the boys love feeling her kick them! We have a doctors appointment on Monday where I get tested for gestational diabetes and have to drink some nasty orange stuff. But, its a good thing because I have been feeling strange lately and actually think I might have it, so it will be good to get tested and know for sure.

Jude is Four!

Jude turned four on Sunday, August 20th. We had a Build-A-Bear party at the mall and then came home for cake and presents with his friends. on the 19th. It was SO much fun!! Iwas so happy with how well it turned out and all of his friends made it. Jude made a bear and got a Superman suit for it to wear, it was very cute. He had an Incredible Hulk birthday cake, which was delicious! He set the table for all of his friends, putting out the plates and cups and napkins before we sang Happy Birthday to him. I think it took him about 2 minutes to open his presents! He just tore into them, he would look at it, say "Thanks!" and right on to the next one. Once they were all open then we started trying to get stuff out of the packaging and he was letting everyone play with his new toys.

He seems so grown up to me! He is such a good friend, and I was so proud of how good he was at his party showing his friends his room and wanting to share all his toys.

Happy Birthday Eden! Posted by Picasa

Eden is 7!!

Eden turned 7 years old on August 13th. We had a party the day before, a Pirate Party! We took the guests to see "Treasure Island" which was actually pretty funny, and then had cake and a pinata. They also played a treasure map hunt game. Eden was SO happy, he had such a good time and his friends were all really good. His cake was by far the coolest birthday cake I have ever seen, it turned out even better then the picture they showed us in the store.

I am so proud of my big boy. He is such a sweet, kind, smart little person, and he just amazes me every day. He also just started 2nd grade on August 1st so it has been a busy couple of weeks for him. But he is always in a good mood, always looking after his brother, always wanting to play. I am a very lucky Mama.

20 weeks! Half way there!

So, I am 20 weeks pregnant!! My tummy is getting SO big, I had to go shopping with my mom yesterday to buy actual maternity clothes. But we found some super cute stuff, and the majority of it wasn't even "maternity" stuff but will function very nicely for what I need anyways. I looked so cute!

Hannah is....well, active! She woke me up twice last night jumping around. She is more active than either of the boys were, which makes me wonder what we have gotten ourselves into! Heres some pictures of my growing tummy. We go to the Dr. again on the 21st of August, so we will see then how much I have grown officially.

Juice boxes go great with fireworks! Posted by Picasa

Ooooo, Aaahhhh! Pretty! Posted by Picasa

4th of July!

So we went and saw the fireworks in Roswell by the highschool where we have gone every year since Eden was born. This year we took Eden's friend Michael with us because his Dad said he wasn't going to take him since it was too hot. The boys had a great time! The people who set up next to us had this game they set up in the grass and they let the boys play it. I don't know what it was called, but there were two wooden boards that each had three holes in them and each hole was worth a certain number of points. You stood on one board and threw these metal rings and tried to get them into the holes. It really made the time pass faster for the kids, and the people were SO nice!

We also had a little cookout ourselves, steaks, chicken, hotdogs and chips and fruit salad. It was super delicious! I love when Dean grills for me.

So, heres some pics of the boys at the fireworks. My favorite quote of the day was when the fireworks were going off and Jude said "We're celebrating America!!"

When we got in the car afterwards we found out that the car battery had died! Dean found some nice people to jump start our car and eventually we were on our way. Although the boys were convinced we were going to have to live in the parking lot!

15 weeks pregnant!! Posted by Picasa

9 weeks pregnant Posted by Picasa

Time for an Update

So, Dean has been harassing me about updating my blog! I know hes pretty much the only person who reads it, and since I talk to him all the time I'm not sure what he expects me to put in here. But, I love him and if it will make him happy I'll write something anyways!

I am 15 weeks pregnant today! Wahooo! Last Friday we had an ultrasound and it looks like we are having a GIRL!!!! Nobody is at all suprised of course, because everyone was expecting us to have a girl anyways, but it is still very exciting to know for sure. I've spent countless hours looking at baby names only for us to decide to use one of the very first names we found that we liked.

Hannah

Still no midlle name for sure, but I have a few ideas. I am so happy that the morning sickness has finally passed, and now I can just eat and eat all day! haha! My doctor will be happy too because she was not to pleased to find out I had not put on any weight since my initial appointment.....but its hard to gain weight when you feel like puking all the time!

My favorite food of the week: Limes! YUM! I've been having a craving for something sour and have found limes (and lemons) satisfy this craving the best. I might make funny faces while eating them, but its well worth it!

I'm going to post some pictures of my little pregnant tummy, cause I think its cool.

Are you happy now honey? I love you SO much! :)
